The Consultancy Group are partnering with a fast-growth, start-up technology business based in South West London to hire a part-qualified Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
As part of the management accounts team the Management Accountant is responsible for preparing and reporting timely, accurate and insightful financial information to support decision making and financial control within the growing business.
Key responsibilities:
- Owner of month end reporting and analysis for Technology across the group including CAPEX, Headcount (Temp and Perm) and OPEX
- Drive Cost Control and a cost accountability culture across the business
- Partner to senior management team to achieve company financial objectives
- Partner with FP&A to ensure robust reporting against business cases
- Co-ordinate budget and forecast cycles in conjunction with Finance Business Partners
- Owner of core finance month end processes including; accruals and prepayments,
- Contractor accruals, Software prepayments
- Project KPI Reporting
- Month end Variance analysis and commentary at multiple levels
- Balance sheet reconciliations for accruals and prepayments
- Work closely and Finance Controller and Finance Manager to improve finance systems/ people and processes
Requirements:
- Part qualified (ACCA) with at least 2 years industry experience, 1 year in management accounts
- Must have experience working in a fast paced environment
- Previous experience producing management accounts with Netsuite is desirable
- Previous budgeting and forecasting experience
- Advanced Excel user
