Senior Financial Accountant. Our client, a manufacturing business based in Leicester has engaged Paul Mitchell Associates to recruit an experienced ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Financial Accountant to join its team.

We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a keen, enthusiastic and dynamic Senior. Financial Accountant at its site in Leicester.

The Person
*A bright individual with energy, confidence, initiative, drive and the ability to work at pace in a fast-moving environment.
*Highly numerate, with excellent attention to detail.
*Previous experience of managing and developing teams.
*Previous FMCG experience.
*Strong accounting and Microsoft Office computer skills.
*Good written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate confidently at all levels.
*Ability to demonstrate forward thinking, planning and organisational skills.
*Fully qualified in a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), with at least 4 years post qualified.
*Able to persuade and influence others across all functions of the business.
*Self-motivated and flexible individual who is a strong team player, strong business patterning skills.

The Role

*Overall, responsibility for overseeing the preparation and completion of monthly accounts and year-end processes and all financial accounting in a fast paced, tightly controlled and ever changing environment.
*Overall, responsibility for overseeing the preparation and completion of tax information in line with strict deadlines, ensuring the information is complete, accurate and timely.
*Responsibility for Purchase, General and Fixed Assets Ledgers.
*Leading other department manager's through the annual budgeting process and preparing departmental/business budgets for internal review.
*To provide full support to the Finance Director, including business analyses, business improvement projects and ad hoc requests.
*Liaising with external and internal auditors.
*Continually reviewing business processes to ensure effective and efficient control.
*Review and oversee balance sheet reconciliations.
