Our client, an impressive family owned business are currently undergoing a period of tremendous growth and as a result, will be looking to recruit for a Business Analyst to join their team. This role will involve providing accurate, timely and insightful information to help senior management make informed business decisions. A candidate with a background of implementing new processes and procedures would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
*Month end results management and reporting:
-Analyse sales and margin reporting to meet month end reporting timelines, including rebate and commission calculations.
-Complete overhead reporting
-Ensure results are fully analysed and reporting focuses on key insights, actions and risk management to drive performance
*Financial forecasting and budgeting (margin and overheads)
-Manage the financial forecasting and budgeting processes capturing key assumptions at all stages
-Provide insightful analysis and alternative views / ideas to manage performance both short term and long term
-Manage financial forecasting for subsidiary
-Continue to develop a focus on our customers to develop the business
-As an advocate of change work with others departments throughout the business to drive continuous improvement and information into the hands of users (particularly in the areas of automated reporting and analysis with an emphasis on utilising the IFS system & agreed priority systems to remove off-line excel spreadsheets)
*Projects and initiative support (innovation and commercial):
oPlay an active role in understanding the full business impact, shaping and providing appropriate analysis to drive business decisions
oManage costings and profit analysis with the operations finance team that reflect business realities
*Support the FP&A manager through the strategic planning process as required
*Develop strong IFS skills to support analysis of performance as required
*Act as deputy for the FP&A manager as required

The ideal candidate will be a qualified / QBE Accountant with a number of years experience in a similar role and excellent communication skills. This role will report directly into the FP+A Manager and will involve daily interaction with various stakeholders across the business. Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills will also be essential.
