Head of Finance required for Trafford College in Altrincham.

Your new company
We are working in partnership with Trafford College to appoint a Head of Finance. This is an exciting time to join the college they have recently invested £50m in world-class buildings and facilities. Some of the key features of the new build include world class engineering and motor vehicle workshops. Trafford College has recently successfully merged with Stockport college which has been exciting for both organisations. The college has an exceptional reputation and works closely with local universities and employers. Your new role
We are looking to appoint a Head of Finance. This is a business critical role that will work closely with the Director of Finance. You will be part of the senior leadership team of the college and will contribute to the overall management and development of the finance function and the overall financial management and development of the college. This is a pivotal role that will assist the Finance Director in leading the newly created team. The key areas of responsibility will include effective management control of all capital and revenue budget and reporting and ensuring all compliance on an internal and external basis. You will also be responsible for the production of management accounts and present financial monitoring information to the leadership team. This is a fantastic role for someone who wants to work for a dynamic organisation where they can make a difference.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for senior finance professionals who have experience in Further Education at a senior level. This is not a business as usual role so you will need proven experience of working in a change environment. You will have the ability to operate on a both strategic and operation level and a be an innovative leader with a vision for strategic financial leadership and management. You will be highly motivated and have the focused approach to the delivery of key strategic objectives. You will be suitably qualified accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification.
