Director of Group Finance

I am seeking a strong Director of Group Finance for this data services business. This is a big role and the business is largely private equity backed, based in Central London. This role will pay £120,000-140,000 + 20% Bonus. This is a role for someone who has extensive experience of restructuring finance teams, integrating acquisitions and can bring a level of best practice and process to the team. We are seeking someone who is ACA/CA qualified only, strong IFRS knowledge, with a 2:1 degree from a strong university that has held a Director of Group Reporting/Group Financial Controller position before in a medium to large business. They must have had extensive team management experience. The role will incorporate managing a team of 12 heads, working closely with the Director of Commercial Finance on improving FP&A and business intelligence. This person will own the group reporting timetable. They will look after treasury, with regards to FX and hedging and managing the banking relationships. The will get involved in business partnering to improve budgeting, reforecasting, financial analysis. Oversight of the transactional finance team. They will have a Group Controller, two divisional controllers and indeed analysts and a transactional team going into this role. They will be required to assist with support on M&A transactions, key contact for the audit department and responsible for writing technical papers. There is a lot more in this role than just this and we need a forward thinking individual.
