Credit Controller

A leading City of London based law firm are looking to hire a Credit Controller. The job has arisen due to my client making a recent acquisition. You must have experience with Elite.

My client has a strong preference for candidates who have at least 5 years' credit control experience. You should be a confident and decisive individual, capable of leading from the front and having the ability to challenge Senior Managers and stakeholders. You must have experience with Elite.

You'll be liaising with fee earners, senior partners and clients, so candidates must have good communication skills, gravitas and charisma. The duties include developing an efficient collections process for the Group's foreign entities, dealing with the firm's external collections agency, keeping bad debt down to a minimum and implementing new procedures.

Candidates should have strong experience devising new controls, introducing best practice for credit procedures and have a track record of bringing change to credit control functions.
