Howarth Morris are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a well established and highly regarded £100m+ t/o business near Warrington.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for the preparation of financial accounts for the business with duties ncompassing profit & loss, cash flow forecasting, high volume balance sheet reconciliations, VAT, fixed assets, petty cash as well as providing support to the finance and treasury department. Overseeing 2 finance clerks you will ensure compliance with company finance policy and will assist the Head of Finance in delivering robust financial controls
Applicants will be final stage or newly qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA and will have comprehensive financial accounting experience. This is an excellent opportunity to consolidate your finance expertise whilst supporting a medium sized finance team in a role where you will eventually move to support more commercial aspects of the business. A salary of £35-40k is complimented with 22 days holiday, flexitime and on site parking.
