The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst is responsible for the establishment of scalable frameworks, reporting and analysis to support the transformation of the European Finance organization into a true commercial function.

There are ambitious growth plans to 2020 and beyond in Europe; a forward thinking central Commercial Finance team is integral to those plans.

Dyson HQ is home to over 3,500 people who work across a medley of engineering and commercial functions. The award-winning campus has three cafes, a sports centre and a number of engineering icons including our Harrier and Lightning jets - one of which hangs from the ceiling of our café. Based in Malmesbury, the campus is within easy reach of both the Cotswolds and cities like Bath and Bristol along the M4 corridor.

Accountabilities of the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst:

• Lead business partner to the Customer & Direct Experience Director and Operations Directors with involvement in regular performance analysis and evaluation of the financial implications of key strategic decisions.
• Ownership and development of our current weekly reporting process with the ultimate aim to drive:

o Forward forecasting of our Sales Out and Trade Stock on a consistent basis across Europe.
o Accurate store and product level analysis.
o Translation of reporting into insight and recommendations.

• Assist the Senior European Commercial Finance Manager and European Finance Director in the on-going co-ordination of the Budget cycle for all European markets.
• Manage the two central entities for Europe, including Budget setting and the standard month-end close processes.
• Assist with performance and articulation of ad-hoc analysis as required.
• Line-management of one team member.

Skills & Experience required of theSenior Commercial Finance Analyst:

The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA etc) and ideally hold a bachelors degree. Proven experience of analysing data and trends in an internationally focused commercial environment is necessary to guarantee success in this role, as are strong IT skills - SAP, Microsoft Office and BW (preferred). You'll have the ability to engage with counterparts across departments and countries, with developed business acumen and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
