Senior Syndicate Accountant - Insurance
London
Up to £90,000
I have been instructed to source a Senior Syndicate Accountant on behalf of a highly rated syndicate within the Lloyd's market. My client is looking for someone with strong pedigree and experience to join their close-knit and collaborative team. The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring the accounting processes and reporting requirements are completed for the managed syndicates.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Producing Lloyd's finance returns, including solvency II
* Evaluating changing Lloyd's requirements for returns and building models to facilitate
* Production of statutory accounts for PMA managed syndicates
* Liaising with auditors, the offshore finance team and other departments
* Overseeing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Essential knowledge and experience:
* 4 years+ experience within the Lloyd's market
* US and UK GAAP reporting experience
* Qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
* Knowledge of Solvency II
* Good team player
* Attention to detail
