Howarth Morris are currently supporting our client, a £500m+ prestigious business based on the outskirts of Liverpool city centre, with recruiting for a Billings Administrator to support them on an initial 6 month contract. You will work as part of a small, friendly and dynamic team and ensure that all customer requests and queries are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner. Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage all received requests and ensure that the mailbox is cleared on a daily basis
  • Ensure excellent customer service is constantly maintained both internally and externally
  • Work towards strict timescales on a daily basis to ensure work is completed on time
  • Gain correct authorisation through the sending of emails
  • Process requests for new IT related agreements
  • Use own initiative and ideas to allocate tasks and process them through to completion
  • Support the team leader as and when required

My client is looking for applicants that possess a high attention to detail and are comfortable in managing their own workloads with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment. Strong IT skills including MS Outlook and Excel are essential, as is the ability to multi-task. You will possess an understanding of internal controls and compliance. My client is keen to hear from applicants that have practical knowledge of VAT regulations and have worked within the Shipping/Logistics sector however this is not essential.
