Management Accountant | Staffordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire border.

Our exclusive client, part of a major UK Group, produces a range of FMCG products for a national customer base.

The group is growing and has invested heavily in both production technology and product innovation which places it in a strong position to take advantage of growing demand.

We now wish to appoint a talented finance professional to join the team as a Management Accountant. The group offers excellent career prospects in various locations around the UK.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Period reporting.
• Budgets and forecasts.
• Customer and product profitability analysis.
• Reporting and analysis of factory performance.
• Product costing.
• Management of a small team.
• Involvement and support within the broader finance function.

Appropriate candidates will be fully qualified accountants with a strong appreciation of manufacturing and product costing. You should be comfortable with sophisticated ERP systems. Most importantly, you will have impressive interpersonal skills, an enquiring mind and a real desire to get involved in the business. This is not a desk-bound role as you will spend much of your time in the factory with operations management.

This is a permanent appointment but we would also like to hear from candidates who would be interested in an interim contract.

The business is located near the Staffordshire/ Shropshire / Cheshire borders and is easily commutable from Stafford, Stoke and South Cheshire.
