The Finance Manager Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and driven Finance Manager to join our team.  Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing a small team with responsibility for the day to day aspects of the Finance function including production of management and statutory accounts, budget management and overseeing the annual audit process.

Other key duties include preparation of reports for Senior Leadership and other committee meetings. The Finance Manager will also work closely with the Fundraising team, supplying information for bids and funder updates as required as well as contributing to key projects.

The Finance team at Greenhouse play a fundamental role in development of organisational strategy, working closely with different parts of the charity to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The Finance Manager will have the opportunity to be an influential member of the management structure, responding to the ever-changing needs of this ambitious charity, which has huge potential for future growth.

The ideal Person for this Finance Manager role: 

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with proven experience in a similar role.  With excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, the Finance Manager will have the ability to:

• Communicate financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Be able to demonstrate strong IT skills including excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel e.g. pivot tables, functions and formulae
• Experienced in the use of Accounting Software.
•  Strong organisational skills and be able to meet deadlines.

The Finance Manager will be proactive, and take the initiative to identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reports.
