Our client a market leading business with a strong market share are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant role based from they're offices in Woking, Surrey
Description
As a Finance Assistant based from the Woking, Surrey office you will be responsible for
*Perform daily accounting tasks, mainly account receivable and payable
*Record and allocation customer payment, monitor account receivable, income deduction reconciliation and allocation
*Weekly email customer invoice and monthly statement reconciliation
*Plan payment schedules and process vendor invoices and staff expenses
*Monitor account payable, ensure all supplier bills are appropriately submitted and approved for payment
*Set up new customer master data, apply credit insurance, contract filing and pertaining documents as per procedures.
*Perform month-end closing, profit & loss account analysis
*Assist management to prepare the annual budget and monthly forecast
*Assist financial and Sales Analysis Report including cash flow statement
*Assist to liaise with auditor for annual reporting and any request regarding corporate tax issues
Profile
- Previous accounting experience
- Good numeric sense and can work under pressure
- High proficiency in PC operations such as MS word and Excel Well organized
- Meticulous and independent
- Experience using the SAP Accounts system would be beneficial but not essential
