An impressive and well established Company based in Todmorden are recruiting a hardworking and conscientious part time Purchase Ledger Clerk (hours are flexible) on a temporary basis with the role foreseen to be made permanent within 6 months for the right candidate.

Your new role

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for the following:

  • Entering purchase invoices onto the Purchase Ledger
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Performing regular supplier statement reconciliations. Obtaining and posting missing invoices.
  • Setting up of new suppliers and updating bank details.
  • General 'housekeeping' of Purchase Ledger.
  • Calculating margins on contracts.
  • Assisting with sales ledger and credit control when required (no previous experience necessary)

What you'll need to succeed

As well as excellent organisational skills, accuracy is extremely important. You will need to have previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role.

What you'll get in return

20-25 hours per week

There is a level of flexibility around start and finish times. Free parking.
