Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting an Interim Accountant for a business based in Leeds City Centre, who are beginning on an ambition expansion and growth period. This role is an Interim position to assist in setting up a monthly accounting process.
Located centrally in Leeds, this is an ideal city business accessible by public transport or car.
As an Interim Accountant you will report into the Commercial Finance Manager, however, this role requires a great deal of self-sufficiency. You will play a large part in the finance team to help produce, develop and implement various reports such as the management and financial reports. This will include reconciling and working through historical data from the accounts team. You will be assisting in the improvement of the nominal ledger, monthly reconciliations and assist in streamlining systems and spreadsheets.
Your profile:
The successful candidate will have experience in developing and improving systems and reports, confident in the ability to set up chart of accounts and reconciliations for the organisations, ability to produce financial reports. You must have an intermediate level of Excel.
