Accountant

The Opportunity:

Our award-winning and rapidly-expanding client are looking to recruit an organised, reliable and experienced Accountant within their Cowley-based head office. The successful candidate will hold their AAT level 3 qualifications, or equivalent experience, and have a good working knowledge of how to use Sage accountancy software.

They will also have significant experience of working in a busy Bookkeeping role and be able to independently manage and organise the department, and if necessary a small team of employees. Additionally, the role will involve working with the client’s accountant and various internal stakeholders to ensure that all invoices are paid on time, thus producing accurate quarterly VAT returns.

Requirements:

• Hold AAT Level 3 (or equivalent experience)
• An extensive working knowledge of Sage
• Excellent knowledge and experience of bookkeeping, reconciliation, creating invoices and VAT returns
• The ability to multitask, take on a high workload, and manage people
