Group Accountant

Group Accountant, Warwickshire. Group Accountant required for our client, a family run, group of related companies who are expanding rapidly.

The Candidate must possess:
planning analysis and management accounting experience

. be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with an impressive skill set and preferably having more than 5 years post qualification experience, ideally gained in construction or aggregates industries.

If not, candidates must have:

or manufacturing experience.

You will also manage and motivate a team of qualified AAT accountants who possess a broad range of experience, covering purchase ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations and month ends. You will also be responsible for mentoring students undertaking accounting apprenticeships.


This is an exciting new role and carries responsibility for:

up a KPI and reporting system
a management costing profile
for financial growth
flow forecasting
of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flows

of accounts for various group businesses.
-company journals and transactions
50 Accounts Professional experience preferred but not essential


The Successful candidate will possess:

5 - 10 years financial experience in industry.

both hands-on and commercially astute and have innovative and new ideas assisting with the financial growth of the group.
