Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working on an exclusive basis with a £9 Million t/o Manufacturing business in Sheffield. Due to a recent restructure, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Part Time Finance Manager to work either on a 3 or 4 day a week basis.

You will be responsible for managing a small team of two whilst working alongside the operations team and production to analyse and improve costs/ processes. It is vital you understand manufacturing processes and worked in a similar environment.

This role is responsible for all aspects of finance across the business. This will be a varied role with duties to include the following:-

*Continuously develop strong financial systems and processes to enable an efficient and first-class finance function
*Prepare monthly management accounts and provide to the board within agreed timescales
*Prepare monthly and ad hoc cash flow/profit forecasts, weekly KPI reporting: revenue, cash, debtors & creditors, time management
*To identify, manage and monitor a number of financial KPI's
*Management of company Forex, liaising with the broker, reporting to Board on forwarding contracts monthly, and buying spot currency
*To maintain live up to date data on product costings, and to be able to use this data to construct new costings as and when required
*Weekly reporting of sales revenue
*Complete monthly VAT returns, EC Sales, Intrastat
*Prepare annual budgets - re-forecasting monthly to provide accurate budgetary information to the business
*Produce the costing of all products, new lines and prospective development projects
*Manage the external Accountants and finance function within the business
*Complete and submit journal entries
*Manage any issues with the finance system as they arise
*Analyse profitability per SKU
*Review and process office monthly expense reports
*Bank reconciliations - ensuring that all cash and bank account reconciliations take place within required timeframes
*Balance sheet reconciliations - core expenditure against budget, providing reports to the board that detail actual vs budget with reasons for variance
*Ensure accuracy of invoices - final check point
*Run a strong focus on debtors - focus on retrieval of debt as high priority
*Complete year end accounts and liaise with accountants
*Liaise regularly with external accountants and auditors - maintaining a positive and focused working relationship against all deliverables

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

* ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified qualified accountant

*Demonstrable evidence of engaging internal and external stakeholders
*Strong and compelling communicator
*Competent excel user (Pivot tables and V look Ups)
