Based in Londons west end my client is a leading Financial Services House with an immediate vacancy for a trainee accountant. Please read the job description and entry requirements carefully before applying
Function
Assist the Finance Team with the accounts assistant function including:
- Processing of approved invoices for internal sign-off and input to accounting system
- Raising sales invoices
- Payment runs
- Cash & Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Treasury management – balancing exposure to currencies
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Calculating annual performance fees
- Preparing financial statements and assisting with annual audit
- Any other duties as required to help the finance team

Attributes- University Degree
- Part or fully qualified ACA/CIMA or equivalent
- Good knowledge of double entry book keeping.
- Good Excel skills and quality of written word
- ‘Can-do’ approach who can hit the ground running
- Thorough, excellent attention to detail, producing accurate and complete work.
