Based in Luton, Bedfordshire our client is an instantly recognisable brand looking for a qualified accountant to join them as a Financial Analyst on a permanent basis.

This job would suit a qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, ACMA to play a key role in the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycle for the business, provide pro-active support to Cost Centre managers to assist with budgetary/operating cost control, work closely with the Finance Manager & the Commercial Finance Manager to produce all management information for the Board Report and shareholder reporting as well as provide analysis of financial performance as required.

The successful individual will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) with a stable but progressive track record. You must have all round accounts experience with strong experience of working with non-finance managers managing the budgeting and forecasting process in addition Opex exposure be a distinct advantage. Strong IT skills coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills are also essential.

Duties will include:

• Key involvement in the production of all group reporting requirements including monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts, annual budget, 5 year plan and other ad-hoc reporting requirements.
• To support the Commercial Finance Manager in maintaining accurate information for forecasting and budgeting of all Commercial revenue streams.
• To produce accurate and timely passenger reporting to support both internal and external stakeholders.
• To review monthly operating expenditure and liaise with Cost Centre Managers to promote understanding of business performance / budgetary control.
• To support the preparation of management information to assist with budgetary control and forecasting.
• To work closely with the Senior Finance Team to constantly review and develop the systems of internal control within Finance.
