Based West London – International Operations 

Up to circa £100,000 + STI + EQUITY 

This established private business provides a range of products and services within the clinical and pharmaceutical space. Its client base is niche, but truly global and it has an impressive track record of growth over a 10-year period. It is established, highly profitable and growing. It operates in a very buoyant and robust market sector and is headquartered in London, driving its revenue from Europe and the Americas. 

With a dual reporting line to the MD of Europe and MD Americas you will be the first CFO in this business and help them reach the next stage of their growth. There is significant interest in this organization from private equity, external investors and global corporates. The objective of the role is to create a robust financial and reporting infrastructure, drive business performance and get the business ready for external investment within a 24-month timeframe. 

You will be a hands-on CFO who has experience of working in private, growing ‘SMEs’. You have a broad skill-set and as well as being technically proficient (CA, CPA or CIMA), you have a good grasp of the commercial drivers and dynamics of business. You can translate operational metrics into financial metrics. Ideally you have worked in a UK headquartered business with operations offshore (US) and have experience of consolidating numbers into the UK. You could have started your career in ‘big corporates’ but you have moved into the smaller company, fast growth space now. Experience of working for private equity with be highly regarded as will experience of working with Founders in highly entrepreneurial environments. You must be a resilient and determined CFO who can operate at pace and think globally.
