Frazer John Recruitment Finance Practice is currently recruiting for a commercially focused financial accountant for a fantastic company in North West Manchester.
The financial accountant will need to be CIMA or ACCA qualified (however a person who is QBE will be considered for the role). You will also need to have at least 3 years’ experience as a financial or management accountant. You must have knowledge of SOX compliance and its underlying governing principles as well as experience of foreign exchange calculations. The main purpose of this role is to maintain and report accurate financial figures to the Corporate Head Office and Senior Leadership team in a timely manner. The role involves supporting the business with daily financial information from numerous areas of the business. You will be expected to work with speed and accuracy considering many factors of manufacturing finance.
Main responsibilities:

- Completing corporate reporting packs in a timely manner
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Period end currency revaluations taking into currency hedging
- Accruals and prepayment postings and reconciliations
- Sales analysis preparation and reporting
- Inventory and unrealised profit calculations and analysis
- Bank reconciliation adjustments
- Fixed Asset and capital work in progress review
- Fixed Asset capitalisation
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Cash Flow forecasting
- Support the cost accountant with day to day commercial requests
- Profit and Loss analysis
- Balance Sheet and working capital analysis
- Ensure that internal controls are complied with and fully documented
- Assisting external auditors with year-end requirements
- Any other duties within the post holder’s competence as requested
