Accountable to the Finance Director, the Head of Finance will be responsible for leading the traditional finance function across the Magnox organisation, supporting the successful transition of finance operations into Magnox’s new operating model as a subsidiary of the NDA, and implementing changes to help us act more efficiently and effectively. As Head of Finance, you will manage a team of  around 25 people, who are spread across the 12 Magnox sites delivering financial support and expertise. The Head of Finance will promote collaboration and business partnering in order to ensure complete alignment with organisational strategy and operations, as well as working with the NDA corporate centre to leverage resources, best practices and capabilities for the benefit of the Group.

With a breadth of financial expertise and an in-depth understanding of UK accounting and tax standards and legislation, the Head of Finance will be an experienced leader of finance professionals, comfortable operating at a strategic level to shape and deliver change and improvements to internal service provision. The Head of Finance will bring a track record of motivating and inspiring dispersed teams, ensuring a consistency of messaging and approach, and a proven ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders across complex organisations.
