Finance Director
Birmingham £120,000 - £140,000
ABPM as experts in financial recruitment have been retained by a fast growing business services group poised for investment company currently has a turnover of £10 million and is growing. The expectations are high for the future performance of the business as an innovator of the market. A number of strategic and operational initiatives are afoot and the need to identify a Finance Director is deemed necessary to successfully achieve their ambitions.
Reporting to the CEO and Board your responsibilities include:
To identify, build, implement and maintain effective financial control systems and performance monitoring, analysis and improvement processes which distil insight and drive action to improve financial performance as measured by sales, margin, profit, profitability, cash-flow and return-on-investment.
Applications and enquiries are sought from qualified accountants who have operated in privately owned businesses as a Finance Director possessing a combination of any of the following services, legal, consulting or professional services. We will be seeking a developed proficiency in managing working capital & cash management. Previous experience of developing accounting processes and implementing business systems will be essential and the proven capability of dealing effectively with all levels of personnel. Therefore, good interpersonal skills & evidence of strong leadership and team working skills will need to be evidenced.
