Financial Controller

Global supplier in NW Leicester, seek a Financial Controller to manage the UK businesses' FP&A activity.

Your new company
Global supply distribution business based in North West Leicestershire seeking to appoint a qualified Financial Controller to support the Financial Director and manage the organisation's FP&A activity.

Your new role
Due to continued growth and ambitious expansion plans, the forward-thinking, customer-focused business are looking to strengthen their senior finance team with the appointment of a new Financial Controller. Reporting to and supporting the Finance Director, this newly-created role will be responsible for the financial planning and analysis of the UK&I business.
Your key responsibilities will include owning the monthly forecasting process, setting and managing the annual budgeting process, analysing variances and ad-hoc reporting. You will prepare and present information to the UK board on a monthly basis as well as driving reporting, analysis and financial planning activities.
You will lead a small team in driving the reporting and analysis capability of the UK&I business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a confident and professional qualified accountant with a strong track record in FP&A activities. You will have a demonstrable background in the management of financial and management reporting, strong analysis skills and a desire to drive performance. You will be a strong communicator with excellent presentation skills as well as the desire to progress your career in a forward-thinking business.
