Management Accountant for a technology business based in central London £45-50k


A highly regarded technology business based in the City of London is recruiting a recently qualified Management Accountant. The success of this business is driven by the quality of its people. This role will be reporting into the Finance Director and will alongside a small finance team.

The role
As a Management Accountant this role will take ownership for a number of legal entities within the Group and provides support to the Group Financial controller. The role will involve working closely with team members as well as assisting on ad-hoc projects and tasks

Key duties include:
▪ Preparation of management accounts with commentary on a quarterly basis
▪ Preparation of annual working papers and statutory accounts under FRS 102
▪ Liaising with auditors to ensure smooth year end audit
▪ Preparation and reconciliation of Group VAT return on a quarterly basis
▪ Monthly deal/bid cost reporting and monitoring to budget
▪ Providing support and guidance where necessary to Accounts Assistants
▪ Assisting FC with ad hoc tasks/projects as necessary

What you'll need to succeed
-You must be a fully / recently ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (0-2 years pqe)
-Commercially minded
-Entrepreneurial
-Confident
-Interested working for a well known retail brand
-Excel: pivot tables / v-look ups
