Robert Walters have partnered with an international FMCG organisation to recruit a new Accounts Payable Clerk into their team.

Robert Walters have partnered with an international FMCG organization to recruit a new Accounts Payable Clerk into their team based near Manchester Airport. Their Accounts Payable Team works across several different entities and the accountabilities described below may be applied across all ledgers. As part of the Accounts Payable team you will play a key role through efficient processing of invoices and timely payments to Suppliers.

The Role

  • Timely and accurate processing of invoices
  • Timely payments to Suppliers
  • Maintain internal and external relationships with relevant stakeholders

Supporting UK AP Supervisor in:

  • Optimising working capital of the business
  • Completion of monthly reconciliations of AP ledger to GL and Supplier Statement reconciliations
  • GRNI review and reconciliation
  • Delivering the minimum SLA requirements as agreed with relevant stakeholders
  • Calculation and reporting of KPIs
  • Identify and recommend potential process improvements, validation of benefits and considering potential business implications

Your Experience

  • AAT preferred/Accounting Graduate
  • SAP / Workflow management system experienc
  • Purchase Ledger experience in FMCG environment
  • Experience working with accounting procedures and controls
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Ability to challenge ways of working to improve processes
  • Proficient in Excel
