Permanent Finance Manager, Harrogate, £40-45,000 + pension + health care + insurance
Your new company
You will be working for an established company as part of a new team in the head office.
Your new role
You will responsible for the accuracy of general ledger, including reviews of trial balance and reconciliations. You will be responsible for completion of the monthly management accounts with provision of materials to be used in company board reports with commentary and analysis. You will reconcile balance sheets for month end for all group entities, checking for appropriate oversight and sign off. You will produce cash flow forecasts and supervise accounts payable function. You will be responsible for the production, reconciliation and declaration of insurer details within the binder contract time frame. You will prepare for the tax analysis for IPT, VAT and Corporation Tax.
You will manage a team of 3 with daily line management responsibilities and lead the way on delivering improvements on process.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with excellent excel skills and have prior direct management experience. You will be able to work under pressure and be a strong team player with the ability to work independently. You will be comfortable building effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
