We are looking for a Financial Accountant for a market leading catering and hospitality business based in West London. Our client has rapidly expanded in recent years with acquisitions and investments.
Responsible for the preparation of the financial accounts for the organisation and ensuring the financial integrity of the statutory accounts. Development and monitoring of a robust internal audit process and system.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for all UK and Irish entities.
- Monitoring accounting and reporting developments in UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Manage annual and quarterly audits. The focal point between the auditors and the company.
- Preparing tax returns and liaising with external advisors and group tax team.
- Month end closing tasks.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (Preferably from Practice), ACA or ACCA.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- High awareness of current technical accounting and reporting requirements under both IFRS and UK GAAP.
