The company
Brewster Pratap are pleased to be partnering with Pinelog Holidays to assist in the appointment of a Financial Controller to join their team.
Pinelog Holidays is a diverse, £7 million turnover Derbyshire based company operating in the leisure industry, comprising 2 holiday parks with 120 lodges, restaurants and a gym, as well as involvement with a variety of capital projects.
The business is continuing to grow and diversify, and the new Financial Controller will play a major part in the future development of the business and the accounting function.
The job
The Financial Controller will report to the Finance Director, and be responsible for the day to day accounting including month end, forecasting and other ad-hoc financial analysis.
Key duties will include:
- Management of the finance team, comprising 4 members of staff
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Analysis of costs and overheads
- Weekly flash profit and loss reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT reporting
- Cash management
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Development of financial systems and reporting
The person
To be considered for this role you must fulfil the below criteria:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Must have excellent Excel skills
- Candidates will need to have a varied accounting background and be willing to be 'hands on' as and when required
The benefits
£35,000 - £40,000 pa
25 days holiday, contributory pension
