Management Accountant

An exciting new venture with ambitious plans is recruiting for a similarly-minded Management Accountant to join the team at ground zero. The role is to report directly into the FD who sits on a board of directors with high net worth and extensive industry experience.

The company has acquired a brand that's a household name and has been around for over 100 years. The reputation of the brand and the expertise behind the scenes mean that rapid success and expansion is inevitable. It means that this role requires an individual who can roll their sleeves up, get involved and can grow with the role and the business.

Duties will involve full ownership of the management accounts from ground level right up to the point of presentation. Communication is key as you'll be in frequent conversation with company directors as well as a point of contact for internal finance inquiries. Plans are in place for the implementation of a new financial system so involvement with this might also be required.

You'll need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or nearly with a strong academic background. You'll need to be willing to get involved in the whole finance process including at transactional level (initially) and have advanced Excel skills (including knowledge of Macros).

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious accountant who thrives on a challenge. The salary on offer is flexible dependent on experience up to £45,000.
