BTG Recruitment is supporting a Manchester based retail business in their search for a Commercial Finance Manager.
This role has been created following unprecedented growth following my clients Sales and Marketing operations smashing their 2018 targets, and creating a massive cash injection which has highlighted the need for a more robust FP&A function to support the organisational growth.
The Role
The role of Commercial Finance Manager / Commercial Business Partner will be supporting both the Commercial and Operational Reporting teams, and has been created to support growth strategy and the increased presence that finance will have as they structure new investment which will catapult them into 2019 and beyond.
Commercial Finance Management and Financial Planning & Analysis will support the organisation in the delivery and dissemination of highly complex and integral data. You will be responsible for taking this information and delivering to the key stakeholders across the Sales and Marketing while also working automatously with the wider finance teams.
This is a high level position with the organisation, and therefore your reporting line will be directly into the Head of Commercial Operations, who has highlighted this as a key position within his organisation and therefore will mentor the successful applicant directly.
Key Area's / Responsibility / Requirements
- Financial Planning & Analysis - Advanced Excel (Macros, modelling, pivot tables, and lookups)
- Business Plan & Budget Management Reporting,
- Revenue Reporting
- Highly collaborative with a high level of communicative reporting skills
- KPI creation for Sales & Operations
- Competitor Analysis and Pricing Structure
- Management Accounts - taking variances and action point to stakeholders
- Project Management
- Ad-hoc Reporting
The successful qualified accountant is to be encouraged to engage with senior stakeholders, to help drive finances exposure across the business.
Yours skills as an accounting professional and a commercial analyst will be utilised to help drive profit.

Salary & Benefits
£43,000 to £48,850
