Finance Controller

Investigo are working closely with a leading Fortune 500 technology business to help them secure a Financial Controller to join a fast growing subsidiary. The financial Controller will be commercially minded and be heavily involved in the Financial performance and control, in addition, you will be directly involved with the head of finance to bring the control function in-house.

The role:

· Manage the month end process, ensuring all deadlines are met
· Oversee the production of all month end reports and Regulatory reporting for the division.
Improve the month end process and the quality of the monthly reporting with Group Finance and Change teams to improve the efficiency and robustness of the financial accounting.
· Continue to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and control.
· Work with the FP&A Manager to understand variances to forecasts and budgets so that informed commentary can be produced
· Conduct monthly Balance Sheet Reviews in accordance with Group Policy. Improve the standard of the reconciliations maintaining an action plan with delegation to the team.

Ideal Candidate

· 2-3 years' experience post qualified (ACCA/ACA)
· Commercially minded
· Excellent financial control experience
· A proactive self-starter, able to work unsupervised using own initiative
· Strong analytical & Excel skills essential
· Good communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
· Good time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
