Finance Business Partner

Our client, a leader in its field are looking to recruit for a Finance Business Partner for their central functions. The role will influence the functions decision making process, provide planning and budgeting management and provide performance analysis for the senior leadership teams.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Finance Business Partnering support to 5 Central functions
• Support the development of Business plans, Budgets, quarterly reforecasts and general overhead planning.
• Ensure understanding of Business drivers managed by the various functions and ensure impacts are understood and included in all plans, budgets and forecasts
• Manage monthly actual performance review and issue communication against overheads planning as well as performance of business drivers
• Assess and support in decision making by providing financial input, develop business cases and financial impact models and monitoring performance against such plans and forecasts
• Ensure adequate controls, processes and systems are in place and operating effectively to assure security
• Constantly review Internal Controls for weaknesses and opportunities to improve and execute improvement initiatives
• Identify, own, manage and deliver cross finance and wider business (finance related) projects
• Manage a team of 2 direct reports

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of supporting central cost functions and ensuring a robust controls environment. The ability to develop strong relationships across functions is essential to the role and having proven man management skills.
