Client Details
A growing manufacturing organisation, that has increased profitability and sales hugely over the years partly due to a variety of acquisitions and are now considered a leader in their market are looking for a commercially focused accountant to join their team.
Description
The role is a commercially focused role that will be key in building the profitability and commercial effectiveness of the business. Some key things are:
- Cost analysis - materials / job cost variables
- Profitability analysis
- Continuous improvements - looking at economies of scale e. looking at ways to buy in bulk and make cost efficiencies
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Finance business partnering element - developing and maintaining relationships with key senior members of the team - MD, Finance Director and Sales Director etc.
Profile
The successful candidate will be:
- A qualified accountant - CIMA (preferable), ACCA or ACA
- Experience in a commercially focused role
- Strong excel skills
- Manufacturing experience would be desirable but is not essential
