Interim Financial Accountant

SF Group are currently recruiting a Financial Accountant for a global manufacturing business in South Nottingham. Immediate start to cover a period of 6 months. You will be joining a high performing team, who are ambitious and want to deliver first rate counting support.

As the Financial Accountant, you will be working within the Financial Accounting and Reporting function of the business, supporting a number of group companies, providing excellent Financial and Management Accounting.

Key responsibilities:

• The production of monthly management accounts, involved in all levels from managing transaction accounting and reconciliation, balance sheet management to preparation of operational and Executive Board reporting
• Lead the Accounting and Reporting team in the production of monthly P&L, balance sheet and funds flow reconciliation culminating in the production of a full monthly reporting suite
• Manage input transactions within the finance team
• Balance sheet management
• Accounting support to operational teams, including preparing reporting to support stakeholders, executive board and budget holders in their financial performance management
• Supervising a part qualified accountant

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience in producing monthly management accounts. You will have experience of working within a busy finance team, delivering to strict deadlines. You will have excellent communication sills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders, and a friendly and approachable personality.

The role would suit someone who is experienced in the interim market, this role is required to start immediately and will cover 6 months.
