SF Group are pleased to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of our client for an Interim Assistant Accountant to work for an interesting and diverse business located in Nottingham City Centre. The position is initially offered on a 6 month temporary basis however, there is the real possibility of the role being made permanent in the future.
Reporting into the Financial Reporting Manager, the successful candidate will provide day-to-day assistance to the Accountant and Finance Assistant in the processing of the ledgers. This will include routine duties including banking and ledger postings whilst undertaking ad-hoc reporting and analysis. Month end support will need to be provided to meet deadlines.
To be considered, you will be an experienced finance professional with strong experience in purchase ledger predominantly. Either part AAT qualified (or equivalent) and perhaps studying towards CIMA (or equivalent). You will possess excellent Excel skills together with knowledge of Sage including Sage 500 or 1000 ideally. The role is a fantastic opportunity to join a small but friendly team where you will gain all-round exposure to the workings off a finance team.
