Head of Finance

A fast-moving Head of Finance opportunity has opened at a rapidly growing, Private Equity backed Fintech start up.  After receiving Private Equity backing, this business has achieved 50% year on year growth and increased their EBITDA by 35%. Because of this growth they are searching for a Head of Finance to develop the finance function and provide a scalable platform to allow the business to hit their ambitious growth targets.

The Role:

• Heading up the due diligence process for new acquisitions.
• Systems, processes & controls continuous improvement and automation.
• Improving month end timetable and reporting deadlines.
• Assisting with all strategic commercial decisions from a finance perspective.
• Monthly & quarterly management information.
• Production of analysis and KPIs reports.
• Business partnering with other divisions of the company.

In this role you will be liaising directly with the CFO regarding all strategic and M+A activity and leading and developing the finance function.

The Requirements:

• Fully Qualified (ACA a distinct advantage).
• Previous experience in a Private Equity backed business.
• Previous experience in Fintech/Technology.
• Experience in developing finance functions in a start-up environment.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess excellent technical capabilities and will also need to have shown a track record of commercial exposure in previous roles. Due to the business’ rapid growth, the candidate will need to be able to show the ability to be hands on in a fast-paced environment.
