Assistant Management Accountant

Our client is looking to bolster their management accounting function based in St Neots and they are looking to add someone to their busy team.

The role will suit someone who is actively studying towards CIMA ideally although other study disciplines will be considered.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, assisting with the production of management accounts, the role will be varied and duties will include;

Preparing monthly accounts to trial balance
Assisting with purchase ledger duties
Posting accruals and prepayments
Reconciling balance sheet accounts for accruals and prepayments
Reconciling intercompany balance sheet accounts
Reconciling intercompany statements
Maintaining fixed asset register
Liaising with budget holders
Ad hoc analysis
Assisting with budgets and forecasts
Assisting with weekly forecasts

The successful candidate will have strong Excel skills and the ability to learn and develop in what is a forward-thinking business.

A good understanding of Excel and MS Office as a whole and experience of accounting systems is also very important.
