Finance Transformation lead - Process Design Central Europe
5 Months Contract
Based in Welwyn Garden City with travel to Europe (circa 60-70% of the time)
Reports to: Central Europe Deployment Lead / dotted line to Central Functional Process Lead
General:
This is a senior role within the programme with accountability for process solution design within the Central Europe Team:
- Lead the team of dedicated Central Europe Subject Matter Experts (13 roles)- Direct the SME work through the Discovery and Analysis stages of the Central Europe deployment and staying connected to the Central Europe Line Manager re capability development.
- Deliver global process designs for all Process and Technology Discovery Work- ensuring that the Global Template is preserved (as per Wave 3/UK). Directing the design to be realistic for the Central Europe business and ensuring that changes are only due to compliance, fiscal , legal or business critical issues (npv of GBP 5m)
- Acting as the interface for all global processes and the SDM and Organisation Discovery- building an integrated end game for Central Europe Finance
- Ensure that any design interdependencies within the Central Europe business, the FTP programme and across Tesco Group are assessed and integrated into the global designs
- Work with Central Europe FTP Leadership (CFO, Head of Finance Transformation, Delivery Lead, Deployment Lead) to ensure full alignment re the global solution.
Outcomes:
- Ensure change team work with the business and process SMEs in delivering a comprehensive change impact assessment of the transition to the new operating model
- Ensure an effective change, comms and learning plan is in place and delivered to support the business in transitioning to the new operating model
- Align local change activities with global change strategy
- Work with the deployment lead in managing business expectations of the project, as well as putting in place activities that prepares the business to transition to the new operating model (business readiness activities)

Personal skills and attributes:
- Qualified Accountant
- Expert - finance transformation experience in global blue chip companies
- Expert- managing change across complex cultural mix with sensitivity and awareness in international markets
- Expert- global process and technology design
- Ideally Oracle Fusion experience
- Previous use of process mapping tools (Aris, visio)
- Ability to travel to Central Europe 60 - 70% of time (Hungary, Poland, Czech, Slovakia)
