Finance Manager

SF Group are recruiting a Finance Manager for our Warwickshire membership based client on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a forward thinking business where you will work closely with the FD and be pivotal in decision making and improving controls for the business and it's subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities include preparing statutory and management accounts, line managing two staff members and providing financial reports to support the FD and board. You will be confident in supporting the FD in preparing statutory accounts and be able to confidently liaise with auditors and lead on month end to ensure that this is delivered in a timely fashion. Furthermore, you will work closely with board and budget holders and be able to business partner and forge relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Experience in producing the annual budget is desirable and monitoring forecasts will be required whilst managing all aspects of banking and overseeing the organisation's cash position.

Our client is looking for candidates who can oversee the capital accounting and fixed accounting process and ensuring that robust controls are in place. Candidates who have extensive systems and Excel experience will be looked at favourably.

As the ideal candidate, you will be qualified (ACCA/CIMA.CIPFA) or a Finalist and you will have demonstrable experience preparing statutory and management accounts and be a confident communicator who can get the best out of their team. Sage experience is desirable but not essential and strong VAT and analytical knowledge is desirable. There will be development of core systems across Finance and HR and knowledge around a variety of different systems will be advantageous.
