Finance Manager

This is a Contract Finance Manager position for a newly Qualified Accountant. The successful Finance Manager will be providing commercial support, finance control and governance for a contract. The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

• Provide commercial finance support
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders
• Control the monthly management accounting processes, including necessary accruals and prepayments
• Completion and ongoing revision of Finance Standard Operating Procedures
• Manage and report monthly Actual Costs against Target Costs
• Calculation of monthly gainshare
• Invoicing client for cost and gainshare payments
• Continuous review of processes and procedures to improve the productivity and effectiveness

As the successful Finance Manager you will have significant experience in:

• Newly Qualified CIMA/ACCA Accountant
• Knowledge of SAP and Cognos (Data Warehouse)
• Team management experience
• High numeric and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically
• Ability to analyse and evaluate information
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate at a fast paced, highly commercial level
• Ability to influence, facilitate consensus and resolve conflict
• Demonstrates high integrity
