Finance Manager

Exciting sports media client are looking for a Finance Manager to join their London based HQ due to continued growth. The role will suit an ACA qualified accountant with 2 years+ PQE who has ideally worked in a commercial environment post practice.

The Role -

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, the successful applicant will have responsibility for:

• Managing the Group statutory consolidation process including driving improvements and efficiencies in this process
• Interacting and partnering with the Group Management Accounting team and other key stakeholders to “bridge the gap” between Management Accounts and Statutory Accounts
• Owning the statutory entity level month end numbers
• Producing quality financial reports for key stakeholders in the business
• On boarding new entities into the consolidation process
• Technical accounting analysis including impact analysis on new accounting standards, intercompany and FX analysis
• Assistance in managing the external audit process
• Assistance in managing corporate accounting matters.

The Person -

• ACA qualified, Big 4 background preferred
• IT Skills (Advanced Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, good verbally and outgoing in personality and the ability to present to senior individuals confidently
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to constructively challenge the numbers
• Organising and planning with a high attention to detail
• Commercially aware
