An exciting interim opportunity has arisen for an experienced Capital Accountant to join the Finance team at an NHS Trust based in the East Midlands
As the Capital Accountant you will look after the capital accounts and fixed asset register, be responsible for the production and reporting of the monthly financial position and providing an accurate monthly forecast, using your technical accounting knowledge to provide timely and accurate annual statements and also liaising with Budget/Project Managers.
The Capital Accountant will responsible for the completion of statutory returns and the completion of external audit prepared by client requests including the annual depreciation forecast for annual planning, and regular impairment review, liaising with Heads and Directors of Finance as required.
The successful applicant MUST have previous NHS capital accounting experience.
