Accounts Receivable Manager job Bedford

A renowned education establishment is looking for a highly effective people manager to oversee the Groups Recovery Team based in Bedford. This role will require travel to Kettering once a week.

Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Operations Manager you will be responsible for 4 Finance Administrators ( 3 based in Bedford and 1 based in Kettering), setting targets, managing workloads and ensuring the department meets objectives set. You will also assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of insightful reporting and monthly management information and further develop the Groups procedures, processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have recently effective management experience in a busy accounting function. Comprehensive experience of reconciliation work, preparing sales and cash balance sheet reconciliations, experience of managing a credit control function in a complex organisation liaising with the public and companies and in depth knowledge of year end accounts preparation, including accounting standards and principles and preparation of income and expenditure accounts and balance sheets. You ideally need to be studying towards a accounting qualification due to study support being on offer.

What you'll get in return
A Salary of £30,000 plus study support. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, free onsite parking and other discounts are on offer. This role is a 40 hour working week and requires travel to Kettering once a week.
