Management Accountant

A Property/Real Estate company are looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to join their team on a 12 month maternity cover.

Duties:

• Finance Business Partner to Senior Stakeholders, supporting with the assessment of new deals and commercial decision making.
• Work cross functionally with operational teams to drive efficient communication of business issues, and co-ordinated production of month end and quarter end numbers and commentary.
• Prepare quarterly P&L reports and KPI data for centres in line with the Group reporting timetable.
• Investigate variances to forecast/budget/prior periods and provide financial and operational commentary to the Asset Management and Senior Management teams.
• Prepare annual budgets and 10 year strategic plan financials in line with letting strategies.
• Help drive a change in the positioning of finance from a support to a service function, driving value added insight and analysis to the business.
• Build and manage relationships with external partners including meeting their reporting requirements.
• To liaise with external partners and internal Finance and Asset Management teams to ensure the Group's financial reporting requirements and control processes are met.
• Critically review and assess the existing process environment and help drive streamlining and greater collaborative alignment with operational teams.
• To assist with queries from internal and external auditors, investor relations or other stakeholders.
• To maintain balance sheet reconciliations and full back-up for journals.
• To undertake additional duties as required.

This Candidate must be Qualified ACA/CIMA or equivalent working within a commercial environment and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to communicate with finance and non-finance across all levels of the business, both written and oral.
