IFRS Accountant

We have been instructed by a leading financial services organisation to recruit a Qualified Accountant with good IFRS knowledge on an initial 6 month contract basis, based in our client’s offices in Surrey. You will complete and accurately maintain financial reports, financial statements, consolidated accounting and complex reconciliation’s. Previous experience within a Financial Services organization is strongly preferable and you should be a fully qualified accountant. A working understanding of UK GAAP & IFRS is a given and you should be used to performing financial accounting for a large organisation.

As an IFRS Accountant your duties will include:

• Project accounting
• Financial accounting and reporting
• Develop reporting process
• Support the culture of the business
• Analyse results and report
•  Maintain group controls
• Assist in the production of financial reports as necessary, supporting the Group
• Ad-hoc support to other group Finance teams

You must have the following to apply:

•  A formal accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Project, financial and management accounting knowledge
• Team management would be beneficial
