Our client is a leading provider of private sixth form education in the UK. The College is an acknowledged leader in the field of exam-orientated education. It offers students a university style environment focused on individual attention in classes of no more than ten.
They are looking to recruit a committed, enthusiastic and self-motivated Activities & Events Officer to join the Administration team.
To undertake and support the Head of Administration and Director of Studies to
maximise the development of extracurricular activities and social events at the College.
Management, development and implementation of effective and efficient procedures and processes for the administration at Ashbourne and to contribute to the development and maintenance of an effective and efficient administration team to achieve the College’s aim to be the leading sixth form college in London.
Responsible for planning and implementing activities for A-Level and Middle School students.
Must ensure that all paperwork for activities and academic trips is properly prepared.
To work with staff and students to promote activities and have no empty spaces on activities.
All students at the College should participate in activities.
Always come up with new ideas on how to promote activities to improve the school extracurricular activities
The ideal candidate will be educated at degree level although this is not essential and preferably some experience with private education, but again this is not essential.
Because the role involves as much personal interaction as data-driven numerical work, the ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills.
The role will involve the below responsibilities, along with the scope to develop the role further:

• Good understanding of current JCQ legislation
• Basic understanding of the management accounts, payroll and credit control

• Working under pressure
Holiday: 20 days, the Christmas holiday period plus Bank holidays.
