As Finance Manager (Master Data), your key responsibilities will include:

• Ownership of all Master Data maintenance activities within the Shared Service Centre
• Lead a large team to deliver standardised, streamlined Master Data services in line with process efficiency
• Ensure your team adhere to policies, controls and governance
• Regular team appraisals, development, performance reviews
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve Master Data processes and collaborate with the wider finance community to deliver finance initiatives and key business outcomes
• Resolve complex issues and customer concerns
• Business partnering - building relationships, to independently challenge existing thinking in a positive way, whilst building credibility and trust
• Process improvement

To be successful in your application to the Finance Manager (Master Data) position, you will ideally be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or a certified Data Management professional; and have proven experience with Master Data maintenance and management in a large Shared Services Environment, and indepth knowledge of Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes. It would be highly regarded if you have worked in a SOx controlled environment, and have managed a team previously.

In person we are seeking someone who is highly-driven, pro-active and approachable; a problem-solver who can bring new ideas and drive new processes and improvements to the division. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to build trustworthy relationships, whilst having the confidence to constructively challenge the status quo.

In return, the Finance Manager (Master Data) will receive a base salary of up to £60,000 base salary (DOE), plus company car, performance-related bonus, contributory pension, flexible working hours, private medical and other flexible benefits.
