A start up Venture Capital firm that focuses on investing in to early stage technology business seek a Portfolio CFO to join them. With six technology business currently in the portfolio the firm have ambitions to grow the number of investments by 5 a year to a portfolio of c 25 within a 3-5 year window. The aim, to take the business to an IPO in 4 - 5 years.
The Portfolio CFO will take a position on the portfolio businesses, working with the management teams of those companies to help them drive growth and deliver on the plan. It is also essential that the successful candidate implements joined up financial and KPI reporting across the portfolio through process and system improvements. Work with your colleagues to identify new investment opportunities and perform due diligence on potential portfolio company's.
This is a role that requires the successful candidate to have an entrepreneurial outlook, be self motivated and able to manage their own work load. Previous experience as Finance Director or CFO in early stage technology businesses is essential.
